Keep Things Running – Support Daily Operations
Assist with administrative tasks, volunteer coordination, outreach, website updates, and membership support. Your help keeps Historic Red Hook organized, efficient, and thriving behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
The Operations Committee meets weekly at the Elmendorph Inn during the Executive Director’s open hours—Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00–4:00 PM—to support the daily work that keeps Historic Red Hook running smoothly. Our efforts help ensure the organization’s ongoing success and vibrant connection to the community. Key responsibilities include:
✅ Donation Acknowledgments – Preparing thank-you letters and receipts to recognize and appreciate our generous supporters
✅ Membership Management – Assisting with renewals, tracking member data, and helping to grow our membership base
✅ Merchandise Planning – Coordinating inventory, orders, and displays for our merchandise, including planning for community outreach events
✅ Festival & Event Support – Helping plan and prepare for outreach at local festivals like the Apple Blossom Festival, Pride Festival, and Hardscrabble Day
✅ Website Updates – Assisting with keeping our website current with event information, news, and membership details
Time Commitment
🕒 Weekly meetings during open hours + flexible opportunities to help with projects and events as needed!
