What You'll Do
The Communications Committee helps connect Historic Red Hook with the community by keeping our messaging clear, creative, and consistent across platforms. Key responsibilities include:

✅ Social Media Updates – Sharing engaging content on platforms like Facebook and Instagram to highlight events, programs, and local history
✅ Newsletter Development – Writing, designing, and distributing our email newsletter to keep supporters informed and inspired
✅ Event Promotion – Creating flyers, digital ads, and outreach strategies to boost attendance and visibility for our events
✅ Storytelling & Branding – Helping shape the voice and image of Historic Red Hook across all communications

📱 Scheduling spring social media posts
📰 Drafting our next newsletter edition
🎟️ Promoting upcoming events like the Cemetery Crawl, REV250, and Soup and Chili Nights
