What You'll Do
The Collections Committee meets monthly—either in person or via Zoom—to preserve and promote Red Hook’s history by managing, cataloging, expanding, and caring for our archives. Our current initiatives include:

Archival Management – Organizing, cataloging, digitizing and maintaining historical documents, photos, and artifacts
Collection Expansion – Identifying and acquiring new materials to enrich our archives
Preservation Efforts – Ensuring the proper care and storage of historical items to safeguard them for future generations
Community Engagement – Promoting our archives through exhibits, research support, and outreach programs
